At times it can be an easy to get caught up in the hype of a strong auction sale and pay too much for a bull that may not necessarily deliver the strongest financial result for the business over his lifetime. Astute bull buyers are regularly able to purchase bulls either privately or at auction for a lower average price than the sale average and yet secure animals of equal or greater genetic merit.
